These terms are an agreement between you and Mario Pon, who operates Belaern (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using Belaern, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Belaern. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Who can use Belaern
You must be at least 13 years old to use Belaern. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they agree to these terms for you.
Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up. You sign in through your email or Google account, so keep those secure. You are responsible for what happens on your Belaern account. If you think someone else has accessed it, email support@belaern.com.
Your content
You own the campaigns, characters, notes, and anything else you add to Belaern. You give us permission to store, copy, and display that content only as needed to run Belaern, including showing it to the people you share it with. This permission ends when you delete the content, except for backup copies that we remove after a limited time.
You are responsible for your content, and you must have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
When you use Belaern, don’t:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including by uploading copyrighted books or other material you don’t have the right to share.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other people.
- Pretend to be someone else.
- Upload malware, or try to access accounts or systems that aren’t yours.
- Overload or disrupt Belaern, or work around its rate limits or security.
- Scrape or collect data from Belaern with automated tools without our permission.

Belaern is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons and related names are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast.
Changes to Belaern
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Belaern is free to use today. If we add paid features, we’ll tell you first, and we won’t charge you unless you agree to pay.
Ending your use
You can stop using Belaern at any time. To delete your account, email support@belaern.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or put Belaern or other people at risk. When it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you before we do. The sections on disclaimers and limitation of liability still apply after your account is closed.
Disclaimers
Belaern is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Belaern will always be available, free of errors, or that your content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, that come from your use of Belaern. Our total liability for any claim about Belaern is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Belaern after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
